Mr. Akrofi  is currently an Executive Director and Co-founder of Essikado Energy Ltd.  

Mr. Akrofi is also the Co-founder and Director of Ibistek Limited - one of the most successful indigenous Ghanaian engineering consultancy firms.  Mr. Akrofi’s company is the concessionaire and developer of both the $472 million Takoradi Port expansion and the new $56 million Takoradi Oil Jetty -  West Africa’s deepest and new ultra-modern liquid bulk terminal (LBT).  

Mr. Akrofi has over 30  years of experience in Engineering, Logistics, Investment Analysis and Finance.   Mr. Akrofi has served as the Board Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Sage Bancshares Ltd., served as Board Chairman of SRM Engineering, Ghana and is a Director of Margins Group Limited.  

Mr. Akrofi has worked in various capacities across the world including but not limited to the following: Managing Director of AIbafin SL, Spain;  Executive Director, Union Gestion Financiera Internacional, Spain; Consultant / Project Leader, Protocol Partners, USA; Market Risk Analyst, J.P. Morgan; Commodities Risk Analyst, Shearson Lehman Hutton, World Financial Centre, USA; CEO, Third Rail West Africa and CEO, Third Rail Ghana.

Mr. Andoh is currently an Executive Director and Co-founder of Essikado Energy Ltd.  

Mr. Andoh is a  visionary project and portfolio entrepreneur with a breadth of international experience, that spans across diverse business industries and sectors.

Mr. Andoh has over 10 years of  experience in Ghana’s upstream and downstream oil and gas industries and over 20 years of experience in international business development and project management.  Mr. Andoh has initiated and participated in offshore oil block bids and service contracts to the tune of over $6 billion USD, this includes both Lukoil’s and ExxonMobil’s local participation bids in Ghana.  He has successfully partnered with global industry players such as Wildcat Oilfield Services, Arabian Construction Company Wildcatos (ACCW), Vivo Energy, ERHC Enegy Inc. and Azonto Petroleum (now Calima Energy) of which he was the local partner for their deepwater offshore oil block in Ghana.

Mr. Andoh is also the Founder and interim CEO of TechFin Innovations Ltd., a leading Fintech company in Ghana that has partnered with some of the biggest companies in Ghana and in Africa including MTN (MobileMoney Ltd.), Ecobank Ghana, United Bank for Africa (UBA), Access Bank, Fidelity Bank and Zenith Bank amongst others.

 With a dual MBA in Finance and Management from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business and further academic training at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Andoh’s acumen has positioned himself as a consummate innovative executive leader.
