The Bansu Solar Powered Storage Terminal will be a 600,000 MT onshore Oil and Gas Tank Farm. This will be West Africa’s largest Tank Farm. The engineering build will comprise of storage tanks to be built in two phases over four years. Phase 1 (300,000 MT) and Phase 2 (300,000 MT). The project will also have solar powered warehousing facilities attached for commercial use. These will be bonded and unbonded warehouses.
The Bansu Renewable Refinery will be Africa’s first Co-processing refinery that will process both used cooking oil with crude oil. Co-processing is an important step in replacing fossil fuel with renewable feedstocks within refineries. It will be a state of the art digitally enhanced and technologically advanced renewable oil refinery that will produce up to 150,000 Co-Processed Bpd at full capacity. Our privately owned eco-friendly refinery will help reduce the carbon-footprint, power Ghana‘s energy needs and the energy needs of the sub-region into the near future and beyond. Our industrial co-processing plant will transform and refine used cooking and crude oil into useful products for local consumption and regional exportation. These refined products will include gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt base, fuel oils, heating oil, kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas and petroleum naphtha. We will be partnering with an industry leading EPC contractor to deliver this project.
